ACES Basic (Olympia, WA)

Thurston County ARES is sponsoring an ACES Basic certification course.  This course will be held online with new, updated content and will require a device that can provide video and audio with Zoom.  The course fee is $15 per student and includes an electronic version of the draft student workbook.  ICS 100, 200 and 700 are required prior to certification.  You may still take the class if you haven't completed the FEMA courses and you will receive your certificate when you complete the FEMA courses.  Students are required to bring a radio and manual for programming practice and passing traffic.  Pre-registration is required.  Contact Phil W7PLC at w7plc@arrl.net or Scott N7SS at n7ss@arrl.net with questions or more information.

It will be held over two weeks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.  Participants will need to attend all six sessions to receive a certificate.
