ACES Basic accepted as EC-001 alternative in Western Washington

The ARES task book was released during the summer of 2019 and listed the EC-001 course (or local equivalent) as a requirement for Level 2 and 3.  Monte Simpson, the ARRL Western Washington Section Manager, has accepted the ACES Basic course as a local alternative for the ARRL EC-001 course.  Monte is a graduate with his ACES certificate and has taught the ACES material in Kitsap and Jefferson Counties.  The ACES team is excited to be able to provide this value to ARES members wishing to upgrade their skills and complete their task books.
