Kitsap DEM and Kitsap Auxiliary Radio Service (KARS) is sponsoring a Basic certification course.  The course fee is $25.  ICS 100, 200, and 700 are required prior to certification.  You may take the class if you haven't completed the FEMA courses and you will receive you certificate when you complete the FEMA courses.  Students are required to bring a radio and manual for programming practice and passing traffic.  Pre-registration is required Philip Housel at kc7svi@gmail.com, Doug Blangsted at cdfdoug@yahoo.com or Scott N7SS at n7ss@arrl.net with questions or more information.
