Washington County Emergency Management is sponsoring an ACES Basic emergency communications certification course on Saturday October 21 and Sunday October 22. The course will be held at the Washington Street Conference Center, 102 SW Washington Street in downtown Hillsboro, OR.  The course fee is $30 and includes the student workbook.  ICS courses 100, 200, 700 are required for certification.  You may take the course if you haven't completed the ICS courses, but a certificate will not be issued until the ICS courses are completed.  Students are required to bring their radio and manual for programming exercises and passing traffic.  Preregisteration is required.
