ACES Basic (Seaside, OR)

This course is open to the public, the course cost is $25 and includes the student workbook and pre-registration is required.  ICS 100,200 and 700 are required to receive certification.  Students must bring a handheld radio with manual, and be capable of entering frequencies, tones, offsets, power levels and saving information to memory channels to participate in the course.  An Intro class is available Friday evening on radio programming for students needing to gain those skills.

Note:  Friday evening Jan 10 will be a separate class Intro to Radio Operation that will cover features of the handheld radio, programming frequencies, tones, offsets, power levels and saving information to memory channels.  This class is designed to get the student up to a basic level with their radio and prepare them for the exercises in the BASIC course.  Cost is $3 per student and pre-registration is required.
